Without further adieu, I am happy to let you know where I always go for my scarf hunting.
I believe Lot 10, Bukit Bintang is a well known place to Malaysians especially those in town. But how many of us noticed this Thai silk fabric shop located at the 4th floor near to Isetan entrance inside this greenish shopping mall.
Sakun Silver & Silk is selling various kind of thai silk textile. It is the best place to find scarf to match any of your clothes as the colours available are from many different shades.Apart from thai silk, they also has hand painted batik square and rectangle scarf with reasonable price!
These are some rectangle scarves I bought from the shop. According to Ms. Mary, the helpful and friendly lady who attended me with her warmest smile during my shopping moment, the pinkish peach and golden scarf that I picked was by composition is 80% silk and 20% cotton. Both of them are RM30 each.The plain pink scarf as shown in the bottom picture is a 100% thai silk, RM 33. All three of them are handwoven. Do not worry for the price because they are all affordable with a good price starting as low as RM18.
